Steve Kotrch has been the Kent County Coordinator for the Delaware Stonewall Democrats for over two years.  He is currently on his second term as coordinator and he has enjoyed being a integral part of recent political campaigns that resulted in a the elections of a new State Senator and State Representative for his district.

Steve and his partner, George, reside in Dover with their two dogs Bubba and Buddy.  They were two of the original members of the Delaware Stonewall Chapter and George was Kent County Coordinator for two years until Steve’s election to succeed him.  Steve and George both enjoy  reading, theater, movies and spending time with friends.

Steve is a retired Master Sergeant, with 16 years active duty in the U.S. Air Force as well as 4 years in the U.S. Navy; George spent 23 years on active duty with the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Lieutenant Commander.  Together as a couple for nearly thirty years, they spent more than seventeen years living in Northern Virginia before moving to Delaware eight years ago.

Steve is looking forward to getting more gay Kent County residents involved in Stonewall.
